Hi I’m Rob, I’m a nature photographer based in Dorset, UK. I first picked up a camera in 2020 to experiment with astrophotography, but this quickly developed into a passion for photographing the landscapes and wildlife that could be found around my home. Since then I’ve been inseparable from my camera, and spend nearly every free moment out looking for that next great photo.
In 2024 my partner and I embarked on our biggest adventure yet, 10 months travelling Asia, Australia, and New Zealand (if you’d like to know more about this, please feel free to visit Lauren’s travel blog here!). During this time I’ve gained a deeper appreciation for the beauty of the natural world that I am determined to convey through my photography.
Gear:
We all know that every photographers favourite thing is shiny new gear, and I’m definitely no exception. I’ve tested any number of systems including Nikon, Canon, Olympus, and Fuji, but eventually settled on Sony just before leaving to travel. Since then I used the Sony A6700 for our time away, but have moved onto the fabulous world of full-frame Sony.
